Head of Mortgage Sales
Our client is a leading mortgage brokerage focused on providing first class, digital mortgage solutions for clients.
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Head of Mortgage Sales to take up a key role within the business. You will be an experienced sales leader to build, develop and guide the Mortgage team through the step change required to provide the exceptional mortgage journey they are chasing.
Growing the Mortgage operations organisation, contributing to the design of the future team structure
Be part of the Operations leadership team, working with the Operations Lead and VP Sales and Operations in setting strategic goals and implementing changes to ways of working, processes and organisational structure
Monitoring and motivating the team’s performance against both growth targets and individual performance expectations
Directing and supporting the Team Leads on a day-to-day basis ensuring they are developing as leaders in their own right
Ensuring the learning and development needs of the teams are met through both formal training and informal processes
Ensuring there is clear and adequate progression within Operations and that over- and under-performance is managed appropriately
Supporting the product liaison and product teams in testing and rolling out initiatives to achieve the best and most efficient mortgage journey
You’ll have experience leading sales teams through a period of growth, ideally in the mortgage or finance industries
You’ll have exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire an Operations team to perform at their highest
You’ll have experience supporting front line managers grow into leaders
You’ll be at cause and have a bias to action, wanting to make change now
You’ll be comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change
You’ll be comfortable with data with the ability to make data-driven decisions and the ability to use and create Excel (Google Sheet) workbooks

Salary to £60k plus Bonus
